Proverbs 12:5 NIV

“The plans of the righteous are just, but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.”

This verse tells us that the plans, or literally the “judgements”. of those who walk in the integrity and wisdom of the Lord treat others wisely and justly. Now isn’t that the kind of person you want to be around and work with? Sadly all of us, to one degree or another, have a broken nature to overcome. We are born broken, with original sin and it effects touching every area of our lives. Physically, socially, spiritual and mentally we are pushed by our inherited sin nature toward being the wicked and deceitful. When God enters our life He begins the process of transforming everything about us. Spiritually we go instantly from spiritual dead to eternal life. Yep, it begins on Earth. Socially things and people that seemed harmless and acceptable we discover are sinful and dangerous. Physically we gain the understanding that our bodies are a gift designed to operate for a period of time to facility life on this planet as we serve the God who created it. He refers to them as a temple. And as Solomon tells us, our minds are in the process of being transformed. We are called to operate with “the mind of Christ.” Today run everything through the grid of God’s Spirit and truth. #BeTheEdge
