Proverbs 1:18 NIV

“These men lie in wait for their own blood; they ambush only themselves!”

While driving to Tampa today I watched a sports car approaching in my mirror at a high rate of speed. He was weaving in and out of traffic. I saw the elderly person next to me panic as they whipped around them. A few miles later we all passed that person on the side of the road as they were receiving a ticket. People intent on doing evil will ultimately end up hurting themselves. More exactly the trap they set for others will end up trapping them. A pretty basic truth. With the obvious truth of this verse it continues to be amazing how many people believe they will be the one exception. They think they can do evil to another no matter what their motivation and get away with it. They can’t. Oh it may seem that they’ve pulled it off with no repercussions. Any they may …for a while. ‘By a while’ could even mean years. However eventually their deeds find them out. Another way scripture says this is that you reap what you sow. Picture a boomerang. Today treat others kindly and watch that reverberate throughout the community. #BeTheEdge

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” Galatians 6:7 NIV
