“A person’s own folly leads to their ruin, yet their heart rages against the Lord.”
It always intrigues me when an atheist complains about God either for something that happened or something that didn’t. It’s also fascinating that when they are asked why the are angry at someone they don’t believe in they get even angrier. It is typically their own stupidity that causes their ruin. I learned a long time ago that there is really no such thing as a true atheist. A true atheist is saying they know there is no God. “Big Think” tells us, “Everything we know — everything we see — is just 5% of everything in the Universe. In many ways, we are still novices playing with toy models seeking to understand the stars. The remaining 95% of the Universe is stuff that we can’t see, don’t yet understand.” With that in mind the honest atheist has to admit that God may exist in the 95% of the universe they know nothing about. Being most honest they are an agnostic. Agnostics believe they just don’t know if God is real. The rest of us can also be guilty of living like we don’t believe in the true God of scripture. When we blame Him for things we don’t like we exhibit a lack of faith and understanding in the God of scripture. More often than not God is busy redeeming our sin and foolishness and the proper response is a grateful heart. Today live wisely and take responsibility for the consequences of sin in your life. #BeTheEdge
