Proverbs 8:17 NIV

“I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.”‬‬

The two greatest fears of today’s young person is that they will never be loved and they will never be able to love. I believe that is not just teens. I find that overwhelmingly sad. The good news is that they are in the perfect position for an encounter with God. Maybe even more correctly they are just waiting to discover the love they are looking for in Him and His followers. At the worship service I attended yesterday the person coordinating mentioned a challenge to obey the greatest commandments Jesus shared. The second was summed up as Be Kind. That is the command to love your neighbor as you love yourself and the greatest way to do that is to share the love of Jesus with them. The world has never been more poised to hear and see that than it is today. Darkness is encroaching on people bolder and more aggressively than at any other time in my life. Steve Brown said many years ago that the darker the darkness the less light it takes to overcome it. Don’t worry about your light being too dim. The light of Jesus is bright and will overwhelm any darkness. It is His light, not ours we are sharing. Today love those around you with the love of Jesus. #BeTheEdge. #LoveJesusBeKind

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Jesus
